What data do we collect?

This app collects the following data:

  • Your IP Address & User agent

  • Our analytics provider, Google Analytics, stores usage data – unless you opt out of by clicking Decline.

  • Our data processing, Google Firebase, provides essential usage data for the delivery of data to provide the service, clicking Decline will not disable this essential data processing.

  • Your name and email address are collected if you choose to create an account.


How do we collect your data?

You directly provide QuickView with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Use or view our mobile app/s

  • Create an account

  • Submit a product enquiry


How will we use your data?

We collect your data so that we can:

  • Understand our mobile app use so that we can continually improve our apps and business.

  • Provide you with an account

  • Keep our services secure and spam free.

  • Forward your product enquiries to our partners.


How do we store your data? -

User data is stored in the USA and Sydney by our processor (Google) in the following locations:

  • USA - Google

  • Sydney - Google

Your email address may be stored by our processor (Sendgrid) in the following locations:

  • USA - Sendgrid

QuickView stores your data in the following locations:

  • New Zealand – Actuality Ltd

  • Sydney – Vultr / Actuality Ltd


What are your data protection rights? -

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

App Settings

QuickView only stores data in the app required for app functionality. Third parties may be set by our authentication partner, Google, for the purposes of Authentication.
